Frequently Asked Questions
Learn more about Soltara and skill-based real money games.
Pick a table, 1v1 or Group. Every player in it receives the identical seeded shuffle, the same stock and the same clock. Draw three, classic Klondike. Standings are settled on final score once everyone has finished.
How tournaments runYes. A tournament is one seeded deal shared by every player in it. If you lose, you lost to a better line, not a worse hand.
Fairness of PlayNo. Deals are solver-checked before they enter the pool, so every board you are dealt has a solution. You can still strand a winnable deal, and that is the skill.
The deal poolBoard progress plus 25 points for every second left on the clock, with a bonus for solving the whole deal. Solve it to bank the full time bonus; a partial solve earns it in proportion to how much you cleared.
Scoring and tiebreakersSoltara is a skill contest, not a game of chance. Every player faces the same deal and the result turns on how well you play it. Cash tournaments run in select US states only, and free acorn play is available in every US state.*
